I've just said goodbye to the mad cat lady from the animal rescue centre and am pleased to report that my house has passed its exam (yay!)

So I have an appointment on Saturday to visit these two lil fluffbags in Chiswick....




Now I'm just killing time until The Apprentice at 9pm... (this has led G to comment that "the theme for the evening appears to be cock and pussy" which made me snigger lots and reminded me why I keep him on).  He's also quite right, because I read a preview page about the Apprentice candidates last night and am pleased to report that I HATE them all. 

This is all as it should be :-)

Yes, though the latest news is that she's not brain damaged after all, just flat-chested. (Apparently the flat chest won't make any dfference to her health or longevity).

Flat-chestedness in kittens can spontaneously disappear. Josh was flat-chested when he was a kitten - that's why our breeder sold him as a pet when she desperately wanted a blue boy-cat to breed from (he's the only one she's managed to get so far). His chest sorted itself out before we picked him up at 13 weeks. Still got him at a discount tho'! Our vet said he really couldn't tell.

And yay for no brain damage!

They are gorgeous, especially the top one who reminds me a tiny bit of Bryn (except that even as a kitten Bryn was arsy and determined and completely sure of her right to whatever she wanted). I love torties.
