Selected Pics from Bergamo

One of the nicest parts of our hol was a couple of days in beautiful, beautiful Bergamo.  I do envy mia_oia for being fortunate enough to live here.  What a joy!  Anyway we fell in love with the place and had two fun evenings being looked after and fed booze and shown the town by our city-hosts.  (I have included a few pics of us in this one, seeing as we are LJ people)  :-)

This converted monastery runs as a bar - a beautiful, insider secret for an aperitif!

Well that's probably more than I intended posting here...   it's sometimes just so hard to choose.

Ooh, thanks! I definitely approve of Bergamo pictures as a matter of principle. :-) And you have a good eye for composition, too. I especially like the shiny wine-glasses with the yummy cakes in the backgroun.

I would definitely recommend it. I suspect its days as a "lesser known" city break are numbered, thanks to Ryan Air.
