Here is a Friday puzzle for you*

Can you punctuate the words in the sentences below so that it makes sense?  None of the words are shown capitalized so as not to give any hints as to the beginning or ending of the sentences.

That that 'is' is that that is not "is not". Is it? It is.

I think that is the same as G's answer, which took me a minute of re-reading in order to understand!

Argh - it's like the first time I stayed at Pandy's Mum's house and she gave a book of mensa puzzles at quarter to eight in the morning, she was most disappointed when I said I was quite happy reading an old Sunday Times magazine instead.

How uncivilised! At least i waited until 8:45 am :-)
(Get Pandy to do the puzzle, he must be used to such insanity by now)

:-). I might just go into meltdown if someone said that to me.

I think it's a sentence you wouldn't think twice about if someone said it to you, up to the: "is it? It is" bit. which seems merely deliberate repetition to make the whole thing longer. Men, eh?

Is it not just someone who likes repeating words semi nonsensically? .... bit like me when I've had too much vino.

Pandy sadly is used to all sorts of insanity, I however still firmly draw the line at mensa puzzles and puzzle jigsaws which my mother in law sent me as a birthday present - along with a box of cat food.

Yep - she did it last year too.
All wrapped up and posted at great cost.
On one level it is practical and on another level it is.....

"On one level it is practical and on another level it is...."

Somewhere between deranged and malevolent?

The former maybe but definitely not the latter, she's a bit barking but not malicious.

We could be describing proof reading corrections:

That "that is" is "that". That is not "not is" it is "is".

Edit: Damn -- went wonky at the end though.

That "that is" is "that". That is not "is not" is it? It is.

I think rosamicula's answer is better. Quoting parts is cheating.

That that is, is. That that is not, is not. Is it? It is.

Your last answer is def the same as G's cos he just MSN'd it to me.
I don't think using quote is cheating... it counts as punctuation'
