...or jam, if you prefer. (Nigella calls it jelly, so I will too).
I've recovered from the cooker incident and just finished decanting the jelly into sterilised jars. It filled exactly 12 of them.

If you'd like a jar, do let me know. I don't think G and I will get through all 12. (Assuming it tastes the same as the last batch, It tastes like sweet chilli sauce, except thicker. It has a nice chilli kick and goes with pretty much anything... meat, fish, cheese - or dolloped into a sandwich).
While I was waiting for it to cool, I had a last minute dither about who I should vote for on Thursday. So I did some questionnaires on the interwebs to help me work out who actually matches what I care about. It was remarkably helpful.... would recommend doing likewise if you are in any way a-dither. Or even if you're not - it might surprise you.
Bimey, it's almost 10pm. Better get some dinner...
EDIT: Bugger! Under the Trade Descriptions Act, I really ought to change the name of this post to "Sauce!". Having just slathered it all over my lunch, it appears that what I have made is not so much "jelly" as sweet chilli sauce. I think this is due to the aforementioned cooker incident stealing my pectin. Have sought advice from the ladies of the loos...
