Eugh.  Fiends, if I do not eat an enormous calorific lunch right now I will expire.  Am dragging myself through today like a leaden weight, lightened only by the promise of a blessed lie in tomorrow.  One of the things to love about working for an academic institution is the enforced days off at Easter and Christmas.  I really cannot wait.

I might try to see The Bourne Green Zone at the weekend.  I do love a good action thriller, and the reviews seem pretty good.  (Maaaaat Daaaamon must have a Sue-friendly agent cos when he is not busy doing Sarah Silverman he somehow manages to turn up in a high proportion of my favourite films ...including team America, obv!)

Unrelatedly, do any of you get dizzy a lot?  I keep having to wait for the floor to stop moving so I can carry on walking.  I get this at regular intervals (G thinks I should be worried, but I despise going to the docs so much that things have to be life-threatening before I will resort to GP visits).

PS - [livejournal.com profile] rosamicula , if you fancy hopping on the train to Brighton, how about this Friday (as in the day after tomorrow?)  Otherwise one day before next Wed?   ([livejournal.com profile] sara_lou  - do you fancy making it a girly trio?)

Re: dizziness. It could be labyrinthitis (if your balance is messed up and you feel nauseous), could be low blood pressure if it happens when you stand up suddenly (you should get that checked), could be low blood sugar (try eating a chocolate bar and see if it makes a difference to your recovery time). Alternatively it's a brain tumour the size of a grapefruit...

The dizzyness sounds concerning if not life threatneing so it might be worth a visit to the quacks.

There is a Margaret Rutherford Marple on film4 later today that has got my name on it, providing I've finished all my chores first.

That you should go to the doctor. I would HATE to have to administer first aid if you took a big dizzy spell at work. Or what could possibly be worse if you took a big swoon and Mr Snot'n'Cough had to administer first aid including mouth to mouth. If that doesn't send you scampering down to the docs I don't know what will. Plus you have 2 extra days to get an appointment.

Speaking of lunch...my high cal lunch is coming back to haunt me ....maybe if I chundered by my desk I could go home early.

Best way to eat Jaffa cakes is slightly stale...when the cakey bits goes kind of crunchy...YUMMY

The weather forecase for Brighton tomorrow is "heavy rain"

(We could just meet up for lazy indoor lunch instead?)
