Down my Tellyhole
Mar. 8th, 2010 06:29 pmGood evening all. I am bookless on the tube, so amusing myself by squirting telly-related thoughts at you via the power of iPhone...
First of all... Glee...
I'm currently a couple of episodes behind what's been shown on TV, but at this stage I feel qualified enough to say that I find Will really annoying. Is it just me? He's so cheesy and do-goody and all-round naff. Every time he starts singing and dancing I want to chew my own arm off in horror. Plus he has really bad hair.
Of the potential lust recipients on that show, the only one I find slightly attractive is Puck... but he's not really my type. (Finn looks like the cop off Heroes before he went to seed.)
Conversely, I LOVE Sue Sylvester. She's hilarious and makes the show worth watching all by herself. Why aren't there more fabulous people called Sue?
Secondly... Sapphire and Steel...
G and I started watching 'Assigment two' ages ago (the ghosty one set in an abandoned railway station). Given that we nailed the first series in a single sitting, you might wonder why we've not yet moved on to Assignment 3? Well the answer is that G is categorically INCAPABLE of staying awake for it. Seriously... no matter what time of day we put it on, he starts snoozing 5 minutes in. This series is just too soporific for him... nothing but seances, lingering looks and dark sets, with a story stretched over lots of episodes. I'll be glad when it's over tbh... (am impatient to get to the one with the blank-face man that terrorised my childhood dreams.)
Tonight is, of course, dedicated to Paxo. (That is not a cue for fantasies about stuffing, ladies...)

Date: 2010-03-08 06:46 pm (UTC)It goes on a bit 'cos ITV went on strike 2 episodes in, and when they came back the programme kinda stared again, so there are 8 episodes rather than 6.
