You've got to kill a rebel or two

Fiends, do you like to direct imaginary pop videos in your heads? 

I do this constantly.  For example, I have long wanted to make a video of a military uprising ...where all of the participants start formation dancing through the grimmest,  greyest urban streets while dressed in hot communist uniforms.  Kind of like Stalin meets Oliver! (with a sprinkling of Thriller on top).

Muse's 'Uprising' would have made an ideal candidate for such a vid, combining overblown lyrics with the campest of glam rock, but for some reason they chose to feature evil teddy bears instead...  tsk.

Anyway this train of thought led me to ponder - isn't it high time someone made a musical about Stalin?  I mean, we've had Evita and Springtime for Hitler... Why should Stalin miss out?  Of course this would introduce the terrible risk of John Barrowman playing Stalin and doing jazz hands all over the place.  (I'd still watch it though...)
