My icon here is my beloved little old lady cat Brezeska who I got as a 3 month old kitten from the RSPCA and who died last October aged 17. I miss her so much still - she was such a special little lady.
Your Jess is identical to our Germinator. Has she got more daft with age? Re cat pics, an icon is the best I can do with my meagre freebie account. :-)
As far as Germ is concerned, the bathroom is by the front door and the correct time to use it is just before someone walks in, usually a fore-warned dinner guest - although one time it someone collecting for the RSPCA, who did a remarkable job of keeping a straight face when confronted with the horror as I opened the door. I need to try to train her only to do it for Jehovah's Witnesses, I guess.
Re age, Germ didn't purr and was very aloof and touch-me-not until about 2 years ago, and now we just can't stop her motoring away and butting heads.
You can rest assured if I ever visit your place I will be entirely unfazed by a welcome gift in the hallway :-)
I'm glad it's not only our cat that does this... I dread finding a 'present' when we have guests round and it's even worse when we go away and have to hire a cat-sitter, because she's more likely to do it when she's left alone. The trials of old cats.
Still, the little motor rumbling away on your lap kind of makes up for it...

Date: 2009-10-03 05:20 pm (UTC)She has got lazier, dafter and naughtier with age. (Naughtier in the senile "where is my toilet?" sort of way, unfortunately.)
Your icon is a real cutie! She looks like she's presenting herself for a kiss on the head.
