Hoorah for ms_siobhan  and her unfailing radar for comedy knitting patterns. Having received a little bundle of them the other day, it would be rude not to share, for your amusement and delectation.

So here we go...


1. The Scary Family

As you can see, King Cole always used the top child model agencies... (G thinks that this one shows what the love child of Lady Di and Pearce Brosnan would look like. However I think the dad looks more like ET... there is definitely something weird going on with that neck!)

4. The Elnett Twins

ms_siobhan drew my attention to the fact that the one on the left is clearly a fembot. As for the one on the right... does Noddy Holder know that she stole his hair?

 


5. The one you've been waiting for...

Yes, dear friends, our favourite child model returns! (You only need to look at the face of the woman on her left to imagine the speech bubble...)

Ha, don't knock it - seems we are all dressing up when we see The Firm I have my Farrahs and a Fila track top, the pullover in the first picture would complete my outfit nicely!

No 3 also has a look of Wincy Willis about her.

I want to know what the child model is doing these days....this is in danger of becoming an obsession ;-) I'm beginning to think she must be a relative of someone at King Cole Big Value Knitwear as aside from nepotism and willingness to work for free I just can't see how she would have got the job otherwise.

I think the clue is in the phrase 'family business'.

The models they use these days would appear to have the same level of unattractiveness too.

I might write to them.....but am not sure how to phrase 'I'm gobsmacked you would use such an ugly model to sell your wares and really want to know if she was a family member and please satisfy my curiosity and tell me what she is up to now' more diplomatically and with more chance of a reply.
