She walks in beauty like a barbie princess

What could be more lovely than April?  Every year my neighbourhood undergoes a fleeting transformation as all of the trees come into blossom at once.  The sweet smell envelops me the moment I step foot outside and my route to the station is scattered with pink and white confetti.  It's as though someone finally woke up to the fact that I am a princess and hired me some petal bearers.


 

 

Sadly I have to go back to work tomorrow.  But for now, groceries have been purchased and I think it is high time to go and make my kitchen smell of cinnamon...

I love cherry blossom, we used to have a massive tree in my parent's back garden. Every year we would play in the 'pink snow'.

How lovely. I have fond memories of trees from my childhood gardens... fruit trees and pink blossom. (Makes me think if I ever have kids I must try to cram at least one tree somewhere... even if it is in a pot!)

Thank you :-) I suppose there have to be some perks for living in the wilds of Zone 4. I wish it looked like this all year round...
