I saw a photo of Barrack and Michelle getting off a plane in London this morning looking unspeakably glamorous.   I think she is the new Eva Peron...   they make crumpled old Gordy look like a national embarrassment.   (Hasn't anybody told the Obamas that politics is meant to be showbiz for ugly people?)
 
So... I tend to avoid talking about work on here, but god my job is seriously STRESSFUL right now!   There really are some horror stories in my work place...   It's populated by a strange genetic breed of Nazis sprinked with the DNA of Forrest Gump...  (with political backstabbing on a level that would make Machiavelli cry.)  Still, they keep paying me for stuff so c'est la vie.
 
And of course, having spent all day hating people, I am home in time to watch an even bigger load of wankers on the Apprentice - hoorah!  Thank heavens for warm cat-laden sofas, plentiful splish, scary monsters on telly and beautiful tweedy yarn that needs hand-winding into balls...

I was astonished to see a picture of Michelle Obama on the front cover of some magazine *without* her wrinkles being airbrushed away. I wonder if that's some kind of policy decision ;-)

Hmm... can only assume this was a 'proper' serious magazine, cos I really can't see vogue or harpers bazaar bending to that degree. (Though having said that, most of our classy Brit mags would zoom in on the wrinkles and circle them on the front cover with a big yellow arrow)
