And Ooh, hoorah! On a totally unrelated topic, I just found out that we have tickets to see Spring Awakening at the Novello tonight.   Please let it be good - I so want to see a new musical with genuinely good songs...  (oh, G has just listened to samples and apparently it's "a bit emo".)

Ah, and while I remember... I finally went to Mildreds on Lexington Street!  Visited for the first time last night with steer  and childericand his lovely better half.   T'was a revelation!  I had dubious expectations but the food was delightful and it had the best pudding menu I've seen in ages. (I am still reliving Orange panacotta heaven.... mmmm).  It's at the cheap'n'cheerful end of the restaurant spectrum with a bustly atmosphere...  so all in all an ideal place to just pop into for informal dining and chinwags.  Will def go back at some point.

It was a good night wasn't it. I really enjoyed the food. My rice pudding was a little disappointing but the cheesecake starter was awesome.

Yeah it was way better than I was expecting. I seriously want that panacotta recipe... and I want to know what they did to halloumi to make it taste that good.

hmmm.. my first poll is puzzling me. First, I could not see the responses until I filled it in myself! Secondly, am I right to assume that there is no way to tell who said what on the radio buttons? I suppose that makes some sense...

And yes, definitely starters and puds... (a fact that is true of so many places actually) It's making me hungry just thinking about it.

Alas the machine says I can't fill in your poll. Obv my vote would be for you to get on Twitter, it is fizzy and tastes like chocolate, entirely pointless and essentially superficial but diverting and fun!

I seem to have had quite a mixed response overall... (but if I do join I shall certainly heed the advice NOT to bore the pants off people by feeding my vacuous limited-character tweetings into Livejournal!)
