Objects of desire (and the follies of ebay)

Well, here is my latest ebay folly...   a thing of rusty beauty that I am currently wearing as a pendant.   Unfortunately it keeps time a little less accurately than a sundial, but it does tick rather pleasingly.



Ohhhh ebay ebay, how do I love thee....      the endless box of delights where I can always find something to buy.   It is becoming something of a problem, I fear.   

And being addicted to all things Russian, I could not help but purchase this rather fine vintage Soviet army officer's bag for birthday boy Glen while I was at it...   turns out it is just the right size for his tablet laptop - joy!    (One day G may actually learn to speak Russian and that really will be the end of me!)

Heh - yes me too! I would happily welcome the whole of Eastern Europe to our crowded shores... though I may not get much work done.

Hope you're well, by the way. I was sorry to read your difficult post the other day - wasn't sure whether to comment as I don't know D, but I hope everything is looking up. (... and I'm sure there are ample compensations for being sporty and not liking radio 4!)

(PS - tsk! I would like it known that vegetarians are excellent in bed!)

Oh never mind about not commenting. I just like getting things off my chest:-) And no one knows D (or did you mean Dk). I have just made a really whingy post as I am full of gloom today.

It is rather a fabulous fusion...

(mind you I think it could equally be used as an artist's field sketching bag, as some of the little sections look like just the right size for ink pens, pencils, pencil sharpeners and the like, and the main section is just right for a sketchbook or two.)
