Cold turkey
Dec. 1st, 2008 05:42 pmMy Virgin Broadband service has now been down for almost 36 hours... it hurts. Am reduced to posting from my work PC, FFS!
What bugs me most is the complete denial on Virgin's website that there is any problem, even though the support bloke I spoke to on Sunday told me that the whole of London was down and it is a known issue with no speedy fix. I had to queue for 20 mins on a premium phone line to be told this helpful factoid. (He also admitted that they have not, as yet, published the outage on their site or the quick-dial helpline that tells you of all known issues. That is surely a crime?)
Grrr!! (No, really... Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!)
