Having said that I passed a shop selling a gadget that projected the star pattern of the night sky on your ceiling, so who am I to judge!!

oooh, lots of things!

Imagine taking it anywhere with you and plugging it into an ipod and projecting a movie on the wall in 50" screen size

Or plugging it into a laptop or camera and projecting photos on the wall or giving yourself a large pooter screen to look at.

Or same with a games console....

Or for arty things, projecting a small scale drawing onto a canvas to scale it up without bothering to draw squares...
