susie_floYipes, fiends, I have woken up a total, utter hag today. Estee Lauder (god bless that lady) has had to do some serious remedial work to counteract these puffy eyes and dark shadows. That and a terrifying pallor... today would have been a prime day to audition for a zombie movie.
I suppose it's all good training for becoming an even bigger hag in 8 weeks time...
Tomorrow is my last day at work - I can't believe it! Much as this is lovely, in terms of free time to sort out the house, pre-Ruprecht, it's also a bit scary from a brain perspective. One big plus is that I might be able to get some sleep, if my body will let me.
I will genuinely miss work though... it keeps me feeling like a member of the human race. (Pregnancy, on the other hand, is a strangely animal experience... a reminder that we are all just beasts under the knitwear).
Well, I hope you're all having marvellous Wednesday mornings. Brace yourselves... I expect I might pop in and wittier at you a bit more often once I'm off work.
