Shiny shiny!

Ooh, fiends, I haz an unjustifiable but exciting new camera (the lovely Canon 550D).  It gets excellent reviews on photography blogs and the only complaints I could find are from big, hulking men who say that the casing is too small for their giant slab-of-meat hands.  (Ha! I laugh at your sausage fingers!) 
  
And as if that were not exciting enouigh, my frivolous Post-Ruprecht summer shoes were also couriered in to my desk this afternoon.  4-inch strappy wedges... lets just call these aspirational.  Come July I intend to be well out of these fuggs and back to my heeltastic best, oh yes!  (Stop laughing at me, parental types. Being covered in baby sick is no excuse for bad shoes.)
  
Now will someone kindly lock me the hell up and hide my credit cards for the next 18 years?   
 
In other news.... Eeeeeeeh!  7 working days to go!

Is it, by any chance, the 1000D? (Because if so that's still considered to be a great camera, according to a lot of photo blogs)
