Rules:

1. People who've been tagged can replace any question they dislike with a new, original question of their own.
2. Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.  (I dislike the tone of this rule. Do whatever you like!)

Questions:

1. List five things you can see without moving:
  1. My sunglasses (Spring sprung - hoorah!)
  2. My work swipe card (which still bears a fraudulent photo of me from 10 years ago - hoorah!)
  3. My work pooter (not hoorah)
  4. Messy piles of docs  (def not hoorah)
  5. A stack of paperbacks that I am never going to read (meh)

2. How do you style your hair?
However it dries

3. Which do you use more often, the dictionary or the thesaurus?
Online urban dictionaries, whenever I hear a new "street" word that I don't know

4. Who killed Nanna Birk Larssen?
Oh lord.... two eps to go and I still don't know.  Could it be Henry, the Janitor? (incidentally, is that meant to be Penry? I never was sure...)

5. What are you wearing right now?
A stretchy, ultra-forgiving black dress with purple maternity tights and frumpy fuggs

6. What's one gluttonous thing you like doing?
Tipping half a packet of pine nuts down my throat when I am supposed to be toasting them for dinner

7. What are you thinking about right now?
Who killed Nanna Birk Larssen?

8. Dog person or cat person?
Cat. obv.  (I do love dogs but am far too bone idle ever to own one.)

9.Write the first word that comes to mind.
Daniel (it is on my shortlist for Ruprecht and keeps song-virusing me)

10. Would you be horrified if your partner/family/friends saw your browser history?
The deeply sad truth is - no, none of them would be remotely surprised.  (I appear to have missed the point of the internet...)

11. A project you want to finish? Just one? Short term or long term?
Ruprecht

12. What are you doing this weekend?
Entertaining guests ...and finding out who killed Nanna Birk Larssen. Eeeh!

13. How are you? Truly?
Tired, insomniac, inflated, greedy, thicker than usual, but generally happy.
All in all, as good as can be expected right now.

14. What did you do today?
Watched the clock tick by from 02:00 until time to get up, ate half a melon, dredged myself into work... seriously, it gets duller from there on.

15. What are you looking forward to the most?
Finishing work on 14th April Oh, dear god, how am I looking forward to it!
(Last, numbered weeks of leisure before Ruprecht arrives.)

16. Last thing you did?
Well I suppose the real answer is that I ate a mouthful of leek and ricotta roulade, but the last inspired thing I did was to make a batch of experimental coconut-milk soap which is in the bathroom awaiting its dramatic unmoulding.

17. What are you doing tomorrow?
I imagine a repeat of #14, before skipping off for dinner at [livejournal.com profile] childeric's (hoorah!)

18. What is your dream occupation?
Being financially independent so that I could feck about all day about doing whatever creative pursuit is my fad-of-the-week and sell my wares to equally feckless hedonists in an adorable little shop that opens when I feel lke it and has books and deli food and big armchairs and the internet and kittens.

19. What is your favourite kind of pie?
Apple, served with a large dollop of cream or mascarpone

You can't say bad things about Sarah Lund, the knitwear queen!
'Tis sacrilege!

Where? Here on LJ or on Twitter?

Have you been following the disappearance of that girl in Swindon? Very eerie similarities to the Killing...

Ooh, no I didn't pick up on the Swindon thing...

(Re: Sarah's mum, there was a little flurry of tongue in cheek tweets saying the same just after your comment appeared - and the same from Chiller)

Swindon: last steps caught on CCTV, taxi involved in taking her, search in the woods, potentially held captive somewhere...

Ooh please, not Daniel. It's a fat, soft boy's name.

See, I think it's an attractive man name, and also one without too many ill connotations.
(Also - What about Daniel Craig? He's all hard and craggy....)

And Daniel Day Lewis?

I can't think of any fat, soft Daniels...

(Though, thinking of it, I suppose there is Danny baker)

Daniel in the Archers - utterly repellent as are all Archers.

Meanwhile G has pointed out that it is our wanton intention to have a soft boy.
