Glorious Decay

Sigh.  Las Vegas, Dubai, try as you might, you will never understand the beauty of decay...
Admittedly Venice is no stranger to bling, but beauty reigns despite the glitz, not because of it.















It's coming up to 5pm here and this is a brief siesta before we think about the evening's events.  G is snoozing and I am footling around making a backup of this morning's photos.  It's been much chillier today but paired with a beautiful blue sky and winter sunshine.  We didn't end up at Peggy Guggenheim after all... but we did have a nice lunch and bought a little etching from a small gallery shop.  Might save Peggy for another day...

This certainly beats being at work.

I really hope you pick up those brushes again. You've got too much talent to let it go. Cross fingers that Venice pushes you over the edge. ;)
