Small amusements....
Feb. 8th, 2011 12:15 pmThis morning someone in Missouri found my knitting blog by typing "giant microbes giveaway" into google. Rather than shouting "pah!" at the lack of free giant microbes, they proceeded to hang around and read several of my knitting posts. Others this week have found me by typing "little farm nude" and "vacant stare". But I think my fav hit so far has been for my art site, which came from someone googling "oil fetish". (I specialise in supplying disappointing web results).
Now I'm wondering whether it might be fun to play web-stats bingo, by embedding a range of deviant terms and tags into the text of my blog posts and wait for the google hits... (suggestions welcome)

Date: 2011-02-08 12:23 pm (UTC)That's not me in the icon /\. There was a mohair gimp suit on sale on ebay (I came across this item through amusing website B3ta.com I really feel I should add). For some reason a lot of my LJ friends now associate me with the mohair gimp suit.
I am in this icon though.

I'd almost forgotten the existence of alta-vista and had completely forgotten infoseek guides.

Date: 2011-02-09 09:10 pm (UTC)As well as the actual relevant ones I've seen 'how donation of sperms causes harm to the body' (there are no answers mate, because it doesn't) , 'tourette syndrome' (??) and 'when the subconsious is not aware of what you did, it is not a permissible act', which is just surreal!
