Eeeeeuuuuurrrgggggghhhhhhh!   (Ok, that's better, I just needed to groan for a bit)

I'm feeling ever so tired and limp this week.   Am typing feebly from under a furry blanket like a Victorian consumptive...   (I think the maximum I can manage from here on is an hour of mindless TV and then bed)

On the plus side, I've just made a seriously cute hat for Ruprecht  (aka my future knitwear victim).  It's the very first thing I've knitted for him, and was really just an excuse to use up the neverending leftover yarn from Siobhan's skulltastic kitchen thingy.

I wanted to take a photo of it and was trying to think of some sort of household object that would be roughly the same size as a baby's head...  but unfortunately the very act of imagining how big a baby's head might be was enough to give me the fear and has sent me straight back into pathetic groan mode.

Good grief, what a pointless entry this is.

Still, tomorrow is another day,  Lets hope there is wit and springiness to come...

Plus, posting pictures of a grapefruit wearing a bobble hat would be strange even for you :-P

My Mum would have one word for you: 'epidural'. I'm the eldest of 4 and she had me and my oldest brother with just gas and air and my sister and youngest brother by epidural which she said was brilliant and she wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
She also said I lulled her into a false sense of security as she had no sickness, hardly changed shape and I quote 'had a bit of tummy ache, coughed and out I popped'. She had terrible sickness and bloating with both boys, in fact she was so big with my youngest brother - she could rest on her tummy, fags*, lighter, ashtray, cinzano and lemonade, and open book.

* it was the very early 80's and the anti smoking message was only just getting going. She smoked and drank a bit through all 4 of us and we all survived :-)

Heh, I think all of our mums still smoked and drank back in the 70s. And I bet they ate shellfish and brie, too.

And the 60s ;-)

Can't imagine shellfish or brie ever crossing the threshold of our house though!

Ours neither,I think the most exotic we got was an occasional Vesta Chow Mein.
