I'll definitely find out the sex if they are able to tell me... and will not hesitate to blab it all over the interwebs :-)

She might have started work on a blanket......

It makes her day to do baby knitting, she's always knitted but when she gave up smoking about 7 years ago she went into knitting overdrive and baby clothes are so much quicker to do than knitting for grown ups plus you can get quite fancy stitchwise for babies. We reckoned the exchange rate was 1 baby jacket = 20 Silk Cut plus it helps keeps her hands moving which helps with her arthritis. Plus they are all in washable double knitting :-)

She loves that her children are now of an age where they have had them themselves (though as much as she loves and by that I mean is besotted by her grandsons she would completely worship a granddaughter) or have friends who are. When I tell her friends are expecting boys she has been known to tut/sigh and then say 'oh well, are they goths (as is often the case) then? I expect they want black and grey and red then' and then start clacking :-)

Hee hee, even if I can;t promise a girl, I do solemnly promise not to ask for baby goth-wear! She can go as psychedelic as she likes :-)

Gosh, if she makes a blanket I will feel guilty! I know how long those take to make...

I didn't feel Jake until 24wks. It's perfectly normal not to feel your little one at 21wks so don't stress out :] If you have a mini-acrobat like my one you'll want them to stop bloody kicking you by the end of your pregnancy :P

Preggy woman at work was fretting cos she didn't feel anything til late on (not sure how many weeks but she was a bit freaked out). She's due twins in March. She is HUGE.

Looks like there's definitely something growing in there!
