Yesterday Rup got prodded by the doctor, who declared that his head is not engaged yet... so I guess he's not planning on popping out drastically early. Personally I think promptness is a much underrated characteristic and will be most impressed if he arrives exactly on his due date with minimum fuss, around time for tea. (That would be 13 days from now.)
In the meantime, G is approaching our countdown with all of the geeky manthusiasm that I have come to expect. This has manifested in two ways this week...
So... all being well, I'm getting a massage later on and then going out for dinner this evening. (Hoorah for my life of temporary leisure!)
Now I am going to tootle off and add Salt n Pepa's 'Push it' to the playlist...

First of all, he's made me a Spotify playlist entitled The Labour Party ...you can see where this is going, no? (People without Spotify can see the current track listing here). Anyone care to add any song suggestions?
Secondly, he has decided that babies are nothing if not an excuse for yet more household gadge. Hence Uncle Amazon has sent us a hi-tech baby surveillance monitor that comes with a little stand-alone camera and a hand-held screen for viewing what's going on from your armchair... or via Skype if preferred. It also lets you switch on lullabies and a night light from afar... or talk to the baby (yanno, to order him back to sleep).
