воспрепятствовано ему идти снег
Feb. 2nd, 2009 08:04 amWhoo hoo... just look at this snow!!
And not just any snow, it's frikkin gorgeous, foxy Russian snow, blown into grey old London to spice us up and make everywhere look clean. It is blizzarding outside my window as I type, and I *love* it! When they start measuring it in feet, you know it's gonna be super purrdy.
In true British 'pull together' style, all services are cancelled and the news is telling us not to set foot outside if we don't have to. I imagine any resident Canadians are guffawing, eh,
tvted ?
The title of this post is the result of a babelfish auto-translation... "воспрепятствовано ему идти снег" is, apparently, the Russian translation of "let it snow". (However if I tell it to translate that back to English, it becomes "it is prevented to it to go the snow".... a snappy blog title if ever I heard one)
